Tasting Notes
Mesmerizing dark ruby color with a juicy, sweet rose & vanilla nose. Black plums, allspice & dark chocolate on the palate finishing with a hint of black tea and medium tannins.
Winemaker Notes
Hand harvested from Dos Amigos Vineyard in the Willcox AVA in the fall of 2022.
Destemmed and cold soaked prior to inoculation.
Daily pump-overs during primary fermentation.
Pressed to oak barrels and aged 21 months with a rack and return performed at least once prior to bottling in June 2024.
