Our Winery
We welcomed our new winemaker - Tiffany Mencacci - in April. Her previous Winemaker position was at Haak Vineyards & Winery, Santa Fe, Texas for over 7 years. In this role, she made many award-winning wines including 2 Best-in-Class winners and 1 Gold Medal winner at the 2024 San Francisco Chronicle Wine Competition. Her other experience include positions on the winemaking & harvest teams at Sawtooth Winery in Nampa ID and J Vineyards and Winery in Healdsburg, CA.
The 2020 harvest was our first year of production. During this harvest we crushed and processed 21 tons of Arizona grapes. We've crushed between 60 and 70 tons the last 2 years.
We started 2024 Crush on August 8. Our plan is about 70 tons this year - Very exciting. So - what can you look forward to in the 2024 vintage:
- Bonita Springs Vineyard - Trebbiano and Sauvignon Blanc
- Carlson Creek Vineyard - Chardonnay, Riesling, Cabernet Sauvignon, Grenache and Syrah
- Cove Mesa Vineyard - Assyrtiko (first harvest from Molin family estate vineyard)
- Dos Padres Vineyard - Syrah and Barbera
- Golden Rule Vineyards - Cabernet Sauvignon, Sangiovese, GSM Rose, Petite Verdot and Mourvèdre and Cabernet Franc
- House Mountain Vineyard - Petite Sirah and Syrah
- Pillsbury Vineyard - Chardonnay and Viognier
- Rhumb Line Vineyard - Graciano, Grenache, Tempranillo, Vermentino and Picpoul
- St Jude Vineyard - Malbec and Petite Sirah
- Yavapai College Vineyard - Aglianico, Tempranillo, Sangiovese, Malvasia, Picpoul and Tannat
