Tasting Notes
Medium ruby with dusty aromas of cherry cola, mint, and pomegranate. Black currant, pepper and tobacco flavors on the palate leading to a finish of broad, integrated tannins.
Winemaker Notes
The grapes were hand harvested from Rolling View Vineyard in the Willcox AVA in the fall of 2022.
Destemmed and cold soaked prior to inoculation.
Daily pump-overs during primary fermentation.
Pressed to oak barrels and aged 21 months.
Racked prior to bottling in June 2024.
