Tasting Notes
Aged 33 months in mostly neutral barrels, this wine is garnet in color with a complex nose of raspberry, blackberry, blueberry, cigar box & forest floor. The flavors are cranberry, fig, red cherry, strawberry & red plum, cedar finish.
Winemaker Notes
The grapes were hand harvested from Keeling Schafer Vineyard in the Willcox AVA in the fall of 2021.
Destemmed and cold soaked prior to inoculation.
Daily pump-overs during primary fermentation.
Pressed to oak barrels and aged 33 months.
Racked and filtered prior to bottling in June 2024.
